(Fredericton, NB) –The Fredericton Chamber of Commerce applauds the Green Party of New Brunswick for their commitment to collaborative care. The announcement that the Green Party would open 30-50 collaborative care centres in the province if elected to government would guarantee primary health care access for thousands of New Brunswickers.

“I’m thrilled that the importance of collaborative care is being recognized by our candidates for political office,” said Mike Toole, President of the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce and Chair of the Chamber’s President’s Committee on Physician Recruitment. “Our members identified the need for more collaborative care several months ago, and we’re pleased that the Green Party has recognized this need in their healthcare platform.”

With more than 850 members, the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce is New Brunswick’s largest chamber of commerce. A dynamic and relevant business organization, the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce is actively engaged in policy development that affects the competitiveness of our members and of the Canadian business environment.
